Accounts: Financial Controller Edinburgh - £25 to £30K (depending on experience)

Essential qualities/Skills:
Experience of running accounts department
Ability to identify, develop and implement strategic changes necessary
Outline of responsibilities:
Process invoices from contractors
Develop departmental and company procedures
Handle all aspects of payroll
Banking including dealing with BACS and cheques
Helpful and positive demeanour
Purchase ledger
Sales Ledger
Employee expense reconciliation
Bank reconciliations
Profit and Loss figures and balance sheet interpretation, analysis and projection
Corporate card reconciliations
VAT
Dealing with queries from other departments, tenants, company accountants, clients, contractors.
Trial balance
Cash book
Payment runs
Office Administrator/Receptionist – Property
Edinburgh (£15,000 depending on experience)
Great opportunity for a hardworking, bright individual who works well in a busy environment and is eager for a new and exciting challenge within a ‘forward thinking property company’
The successful candidate will be required to act as Receptionist being the first point of contact for all visitors to the office.
Answer all calls in the first instance and transfer as necessary
Deal with all incoming mail and distribute
Deal with all outgoing mail at end of day
Keep filing up-dated.
Deal with applications as they come in, process for credit checking and collection of references ensuring all received
Preparation of all legal documentation ie Leases
Some basic administration and correspondence
Assist with maintenance calls and chasing up
Liaise with landlords, tenants and contractors
Keep a diary of all staff movements
Keep office tidy etc
There will be progression within the company and the successful candidate may have the choice of choosing their career path.
All training will be provided and monitored by the Property Manager.
The candidate must be a team player but also be able to work on their own initiative
Must have Microsoft Office IT skills, common sense approach, good basic education, be well presented, articulate and committed to the role and be willing to have fun.
Hours are Monday – Friday 9 – 5
Receptionist / Letting Administrator - Kirkcaldy
(£13 - £14,000 depending on experience)
Are you friendly, hardworking and have experience working within a busy ‘front of house’ property office dealing with clients face to face & on the telephone?
Our client is one of Scotland’s fastest growing Letting Agencies who is committed to giving a quality service to their clients and also believe in looking after their staff encouraging long term working relationships within extremely stylish offices.
The main responsibilities are:-
General office duties including dealing with all incoming telephone calls, assisting clients when they come into the office, diary management, making appointments for the Property Manager.
Keeping the window display updated at all times.
Up-loading properties onto the company website and other advertising portals.
Arranging for all ‘To Let’ boards to be put up & taken down.
Dealing with all client and tenant enquiries
Preparation of legal documents such as Lease Agreements, AT5’s etc
Maintaining a tidy front of house at all times.
Qualities required:
Friendly & articulate telephone manner
Excellent IT skills – knowledge of CFP Winman an advantage.
Strong local knowledge
