Letting Negotiator


Salary Guide: £18,000 to £21,000

An exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, varied and challenging role.

Experience in a in a similar role in Residential Lettings would be beneficial. The ideal candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, and experience using SME software would be beneficial.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising viewings appointments diary
  • Advertising properties on relevant property websites
  • Dealing with email/phone enquiries regarding properties to let
  • Ensuring the company move-in procedures are followed to ensure the process is smooth and in line with all relevant legislation. Liaising with relevant parties to ensure the property is ready to let and tenantable as per legislation for the agreed tenancy start date:

o Instructing inventory/cleaning where required

o Ensuring all alarms and safety certification/legislative requirements are in place as per legislation

o Processing application forms with accurate data

o Carrying out tenant credit checks and referencing, monitoring the application to ensure the application is completed within the necessary timescale (via Let Alliance)

  • Preparing and signing of Lease and safety certificates, ensuring all legally required documents are administered
  • Deal with Council Tax and Utility correspondence
