Residential Property Manager (Maternity Cover)


Salary Guide: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on level of experience

6 months starting in May 2023 (possibly longer)


Exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional to join this busy Team, as Residential Property Manager on a temporary contract to cover the existing post holder’s Maternity leave.


Hybrid working available – 3 days in the office (Monday & Thursday mandatory) and 2 days working from home.


Must have Driving Licence and Property Management experience.


Starting in early May 2023


What does the job entail?

We are looking for a self-motivated and diligent Residential Property Manager to help

manage the residential property portfolio of approx. 300 properties.


The Role

 Appointing & managing letting agents on a tenant find basis

 Ensuring rents are reviewed annually to keep pace with market levels

 Managing rent arrears cases to acceptable resolution

 Appointing & managing maintenance contractors

 Appointing & managing gas, electrical and other safety inspections

 Facilitating internal refurbishments as required

 Dealing with tenancy expiries and deposit disputes

 Assisting with reviewing portfolio acquisition opportunities



What our Client is looking for?

The successful candidate must be able to work at high volume and fast pace but with

accuracy and whilst delivering the highest business standards and customer service



You must have current or previous property management experience within the

residential letting sector and should be a strong communicator and confident when

dealing with people. You must be flexible, reliable and have a positive attitude and

strong work ethic. You must be resilient and able to deal with a variety of challenging


Excellent IT Skills

Strong organisational skills

Good Admin


Please Note:

The vast bulk of the portfolio is in and around Edinburgh but the very occasional longer trip will be required as there are properties as far north as Inverness and as far south as Cumbria and Northumbria.


A full, clean driving licence is essential for this role.


What is on offer?

 37.5 hours a week, working between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Hybrid working applies allowing up to 2 days working from home.
