Trainee Letting Negotiator

Salary Guide: £22,000 to £24,000 (depending on level of experience) plus bonus

A great opportunity to join this well established Letting Agency in Edinburgh with prospects to develop a career in the industry. This role would suit a friendly, confident and honest individual with a positive attitude to join this busy, small team.

 

  • Residential Letting experience is desired, but ideally you will have strong customer service experience
  • SME software experience is preferred, however training will be available
  • A full, clean UK driver’s licence

 

The successful candidate will have exceptional customer service skills as well as a strong desire to learn. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

 

The Role / Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls, responding to emails and enquiries efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Arranging viewings with prospective tenants by phone and in response to online adverts
  • Creating and updating property adverts online and window display
  • Ensure effective use of all marketing methods available to promote properties
  • Issuing and monitoring keys
  • Gathering application forms and references from potential tenants
  • Transferring of utilities and council tax at start and end of lets
  • Dealing with daily post and general filing
  • Filing and archiving
  • Monitor diary on a daily basis
  • Assisting the team with any further administrative support they require

Qualifications Required:

  • ARLA qualified not essential but there’s an expectation to obtain this

 

Other Experience:
