Training and Events Co-ordinator

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 dependant on experience

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work with our client – A training and accreditation organisation. They are keen to secure a ‘switched on’ individual who has a wealth of communication, organisational and strong IT Skills.

You must be ‘super’ organised with bags of initiative – being used to working as part of a team will be beneficial together with supervisory experience.

The successful candidate must have a Full, Clean UK Driver’s Licence and use of their own vehicle.

Our client promotes best practice in the private rented sector in Scotland. The person undertaking this role will be central in assisting our client achieve its goals in the delivery of learning & development products and services, accreditation promotion and income generation.

As a key part of this small team, you will be responsible for the scheduling and provision of administrative support for the national training programme, events and organisational development activities as well as liaison with all key partner organisations. This will be done with the help of the Training and Events Assistant and the wider team. You will help promote products and services, including the use of social media.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated, organised, confident, and able to take the initiative. You should have excellent customer service skills, be a strong team player with proven supervisory experience and have great IT skills.

(The role is full-time, 35 hours per week based in Edinburgh / some requirement for flexibility and out of hours working. Applicants must therefore have a full driving licence and be willing to travel to events around Scotland. Mileage allowance is paid at the full HMRC rate.
