Role Description

This is a full-time office based role located in Edinburgh. The role is high paced and would suit an enthusiastic, confident and ‘switched on’ individual who is focused on providing a high level of customer care and takes pride in their work.

 

Ideally, the successful applicant will have one years’ experience in a client facing role, preferably within the property industry.

 

A high level of attention to detail is required along with a good level of IT literacy. Good knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas would be advantageous.

 

As a Lettings Negotiator / Lettings Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to property letting.

 

Your role will cover

  • First point or contact for anyone entering the office.
  • Responding to available property enquiries and booking viewings.
  • Managing general office calls and emails.
  • Up-dating marketing portals.
  • Carrying out viewings.
  • All new tenancy admin including tenant referencing and lease preparation.
  • Administering check in paperwork.
  • Administering check out paperwork.
  • Assisting with processing rents
  • Managing deposits.
  • Providing administrative support to Property Managers when required.
  • Managing and administering mid tenancy changes
  • Managing and administering rent increase notices
  • Managing contractor keys.
  • Playing an active role in the office and working effectively in a small team.

 

Skill set

  • Experience of a busy office environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
  • Confident in a social environment and dealing with people face to face.
  • High level of organisation.
  • Good level of general IT literacy.
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationships with tenants and landlords.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • ARLA qualified or similar would be advantageous
  • 1 years’ experience of working in a client facing role, preferably within Property
  • Positive work ethic
  • Willing to always go that extra mile
  • Team spirit
